Paid Media Specialist

Ideal applicants will have at least 1-2 years agency experience in planning, delivering, optimising and reporting on paid media campaigns.

An experienced paid media specialist with a strong team ethic who can represent the agency in a professional manner and to assist in establishing the credibility of the agency in line with the mission of the business.

You will be involved in the strategy, execution and monitoring of these campaigns, working with a wide range of B2B and B2C clients with varying levels of media spend. Your main task will be to support the wider team using your insightful approach, knowledge, and experience to manage, plan and execute paid media campaigns to the highest standard possible.

Applies knowledge of digital media and communication platforms to identify the most appropriate mediums for building client campaigns.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all Digital Strategies are implemented correctly.

  • Manage Post-Campaign Analysis and share/present insights.

  • Operational management of external work partners.

  • Evaluation and Analysis of Digital Media usage.

  • Manage the brands digital budgets, assist with costing of digital activities and ensure ROI.

  • Organises their own and others time to hit deadlines, doesn’t create problems through lack of planning.

  • Is proactive in drawing attention to market information that impacts the wider organisation.

  • Is always looking for innovations within the market that can add to the agency offering.

  • Understand the positioning of the wider agency, amongst competitor sets.

  • Is accurate with information supplied internally and externally.

  • Has an excellent understanding of reporting and research systems available in the agency.

Competencies:

  • Strong PPC and other digital media channel experience. Especially within the full Google Ads and all major PPC platforms and preferably have experience in the set up and running of Social Ads across platforms such as Facebook

  • Good working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag manager and other common digital tools

  • Have the ability to create and optimise campaigns from scratch including all keyword research and bidding, campaign build and management and tracking

  • Manage attribution and analytics and report regularly

  • Collaborate with wider digital teams to ensure consistency and continuity of approach across sites

  • Use PPC management tools to reduce PPC costs

  • Keeping up to date with changes in search engine technology

  • Extremely high attention to detail

  • Strong office based skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical skills, and able to interrupt results and make meaningful decisions.

  • Is a team player and a motivator to those around them.

  • Has very strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills.

  • Has a good network of industry contacts that can be drawn upon if required.

  • Has a ‘can do’ attitude and is willing to adapt to fit the needs of the team.

  • Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge across media channels.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Google AdWords Certified

  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to customers in a language and manner that they understand
